Swiss Cheese Plant
Monstera Adansonii
The Swiss Cheese Plant is named so after its large, heart-shaped leaves that develop holes as they age (a process known as fenestration). Native to Central and South America, this plant is a tropical perennial closely related to the Monstera Deliciosa. This plant has a fast growth rate and a vining habit and can reach up to 8 feet tall and 3 feet wide when grown indoors. The plant requires acidic to neutral soil which is moist but well-drained with partial sun exposure. This Monstera’s vibrant leaves with the characteristic fenestration have made it a cult favorite!
