Coleus, also known as painted nettle or poor man’s croton, is a tender tropical Plants, native to Equatorial areas. It was largely made popular as Victorian-era bedding plants. They are characterized by square stems and leaves situated directly opposite each other. The vibrant foliage adds a decorative edge to window boxes, outdoor gardens, and hanging baskets. The colors of the foliage range from dark red to apricot orange, neon rose to scarlet, making them a bright addition to any planter.
