When located in areas of full to partial sun and loamy, rocky, and well-drained soil that ranges between acidic and neutral, the plant can grow up to 1 foot tall and 2 feet wide. The plant also blooms with white or pink flowers, that look similar to spiderwort flowers. The plant is known for its foliage which is dark green and Variegated with shades of burgundy, pink, green, and cream.
