Refund, Return and Cancellation Policy

At farmerr.in, gifting is about trust and timing. We do our best to deliver every order exactly as promised. At the same time, we want our policies to be clear, fair, and easy to understand. Please read the details below to know how returns, refunds, cancellations, and deliveries are handled.

Customer Support

We use a chat first support system so that most queries can be resolved quickly without waiting on calls. You can use the chat support system on the website or You may also email us at info@farmerr.in if the chat is not convenient.

Your safety matters to us. Our team will never ask for your OTP, password, bank details, or any sensitive information. Please do not share these details with anyone claiming to be from farmerr.in.

Returns

  • We do not accept returns on gift items.
  • However, if the gift item you receive is damaged, defective, or different from what you ordered, please inform our support team within 24 hours of delivery.

Once the issue is verified, you can choose one of the following options. You may request a replacement or re delivery of the item. You may also request a refund to your original payment method. In such cases, the amount is credited based on your bank or wallet timelines, usually within 7 to 10 working days.

Refunds to Original Payment Method

All refunds are processed only to the original payment method used while placing the order. If your bank or wallet supports instant refunds, the amount may reflect within 24 hours. In other cases, it may take up to 7 to 10 working days. Any delay from the bank side is beyond our control.

Delivery Date and Time Slots

  • The delivery date and time slot selected at checkout are preferred slots. We always try our best to deliver within the chosen slot, but this cannot be guaranteed.
  • For daytime deliveries, orders are delivered between 10 AM and 9 PM. For midnight deliveries (if available), delivery may take place anytime between 11 PM and 12:30 AM. In some remote locations or smaller towns, midnight deliveries may extend up to 12:30 AM.
  • We are committed to completing delivery within 24 hours of the selected delivery slot. Refunds are applicable only if the delivery is not completed within this extended window.

Delivery Attempts and Non Delivery

  • Only one delivery attempt is made for each order. Please ensure that the recipient is available at the delivery address at the selected time.
  • An order is considered successfully attempted and completed if delivery fails due to reasons such as incorrect address, wrong pincode, recipient not available, premises locked, unreachable contact number, recipient refusing the order, or delivery completed as per recipient instructions to a neighbor or security.
  • In such cases, no refund or re delivery is possible.

Damaged Items at the Time of Delivery

  • Recipients are advised to check the gift items at the time of delivery before accepting them.
  • If the item is found to be severely damaged, the recipient should refuse the delivery and inform our customer support immediately. Any issues must be reported within 4 hours of delivery. Requests raised after this time may not be accepted.
  • In case a replacement is approved, it may take up to 12-24 hours to complete the re delivery.
  • Minor or cosmetic issues such as packaging imperfections, missing message cards, or slight presentation differences do not qualify for replacement or refund.

Special Situations

Delivery timelines may be affected due to factors beyond our control such as extreme weather conditions, strikes, elections, public disturbances, or exceptionally high order volumes during festivals and special occasions.

In such cases, orders may be delivered on the next available day. Cancellations or refunds may not be possible during these situations.

Keep as Surprise Orders

For orders marked as Keep as Surprise, the sender’s details are not disclosed to the recipient. If the recipient refuses to accept the order, we may share the sender’s details to seek confirmation. If the recipient still does not accept the order, it is considered completed from our end and no refund is applicable due to the nature of gifting and delivery logistics. In case the sender has not given his contact number, we might ask the recipient to provide the same if any important information needs to be conveyed.

Cancellation Policy

Cancellations are processed based on the delivery time slot selected while placing the order.

  • If a cancellation request is received more than 24 hours before the start of the selected delivery slot, 90 percent of the order value is refunded to the original payment method. The remaining amount is charged as a cancellation fee. In this case, customers may choose a 100 percent refund to the farmerr.in wallet.
  • If the cancellation request is received between 12 and 24 hours before the delivery slot, 80 percent of the order value is refunded to the original payment method. A full refund to the wallet may be offered at our discretion.
  • If the cancellation request is received within 12 hours of the delivery slot, no refund is applicable to the bank or wallet.
  • Wallet or bank refunds in exceptional circumstances are offered only at the discretion of farmerr.in.

Order Updates and Tracking

Once an order is placed, our team usually shares relevant updates such as order confirmation, out for delivery, and delivery completion through available communication channels. However, in rare cases, due to technical issues or inadvertent human errors, these updates may not be sent.

The absence of tracking or status updates will not be considered a valid reason for order cancellation or refund. If you need an update at any point, you may contact our support team via chat, phone, or email, and we will share the latest order details as soon as possible.

Non Cancellable Orders

Orders placed for same day delivery, same day midnight delivery, or special occasions and festival days cannot be cancelled and are not eligible for refunds.

Address Change Requests

Address changes are allowed free of cost up to 24 hours before the delivery time. Requests received within 24 hours of delivery may be charged a fee of 200 rupees. In some cases, address changes may not be possible. In such situations, the order cannot be cancelled or refunded.

Address/Pincode Accuracy

It is the customer’s responsibility to ensure that the correct address/pincode is entered at the time of placing the order.

If an incorrect address/pincode is provided and the address falls outside our serviceable area, the order may be cancelled without a refund. If delivery is requested to a different address/pincode, revised delivery charges will apply. The order cannot be cancelled if the customer chooses not to pay the revised charges.

Special Occasions and High Demand Days

During certain occasions and high demand periods, delivery timelines may be impacted due to heavy order volumes and logistical constraints. While we continue to make every effort to deliver on the selected date, delays may occur and cancellations or refunds may not be possible during these periods.

Such occasions include, but are not limited to, Valentine’s Day, Rose Day, Propose Day, Teddy Day, Hug Day, Kiss Day, Friendship Day, Mother’s Day, Father’s Day, Raksha Bandhan, Diwali, Holi, Christmas, New Year, and other regional or national festivals.

In these situations, orders may be delivered on the next available working day if delivery on the selected date is not feasible.

To ensure timely delivery during such high demand periods, we may make minor substitutions or adjustments to the gift items, packaging, or components, wherever required. Any such changes will be made only to maintain overall quality and value, while ensuring the order reaches the recipient on time.

Serviceable Cities

Although we have clearly mentioned on our website that we currently deliver only in selected cities such as Delhi including some areas of Gurgaon, Ghaziabad, Faridabad, Noida and Greater Noida, along with Bangalore and Hyderabad, we may occasionally receive orders for locations outside our serviceable areas.

In such cases, as soon as our team receives confirmation that delivery is not possible for the selected location, we will inform you at the earliest and initiate a full refund of the amount paid to the original mode of payment.

Final Note

Order acceptance is subject to product availability, delivery feasibility, and operational conditions. In rare cases where farmerr.in cancels an order, a full refund is issued to the wallet or original payment method.
